This is a wonderful book. If you have a child order it! It contains stories by Dr. Seuss, Arnold Lobel, and Else Holmelund Minarik (Little Bear). There are illustrations by Maurice Sendak. There are chapters containing Poems, Riddles, Tongue-Twisters, picture stories, hidden pictures and much more. Filled with fun!

This is an excellent book for the begining reader. I have used it with several of my children while teaching them to read. There are several stories some easier and some harder. The stories are interesting and well illustrated.
