The Readymade Thief by Augustus Rose has a lot going on. Shoplifting. Teenage angst. Child abuse. Homeless teenagers. Criminal cults. Murder. Physics theories. Ancient codes. Internet hackers. Sex trade. Drugs. Love story. Those are just the things I remember. The imaginative and vivid descriptions of the places in the book are my favorite part. The story makes for an entertaining read up to a point. After a while, too much going on becomes just that. Too much.
