This is a refreshing and uplifting read. Each chapter focuses on a southern lady and shares how that woman exemplifies unique characteristics. Not all the characteristics are necessarily "Christian" characteristics, but all are wonderful and encouraging. I finish each chapter wanting to be more like the gal I just read about.
I read through it quickly, but it would be just as good a read if picked up sporadically and each chapter read as an independent piece. Would make a good gift for a Christian friend needing encouragement.
