Hi there! I received a wrong book in the mail today. I PMed the sender about the problem. I haven't let PBS know this yet as i'm trying to give the sender a chance to rectify the situation. How long should I give them to respond to my PM that I sent earlier this evening? The book they sent is by the same author but I have no care to read this one as I really wanted the other one I requested. Thanks for any of your thoughts!

Hi Keri, I think I would give her a couple of days to respond. Not everyone is on PBS all the time like some of us. It could be she sent your book to another member, but she'll have to let you know that. Hope that helps! http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/help_item.php?id=19 Robin

I would also give her until Tuesday to respond. It is a holiday weekend. She may be unaware of the mistake and appreciative of the opportunity to make it right. After Tuesday, and maybe a second PM on Monday, I would move ahead with marking that you did not receive the book you requested. My two pennies |

Hi guys, thanks for your thoughts. This is the first time this has happened to me and I want to be fair and I wasn't sure how to deal with it. Hope everyone has a great long weekend, I unfortunately have to work on Monday but then I have the next week off and it is off to Maui for me...woohoo!!

You know - I think I did my first switch this week. When I took two books to the post office - their postage was opposite of what was printed...I'm hoping that's not the case. I would give them at least 5 days and then go thru the system. Jenna |
