Got a book the other day but it was not the one I requested. Perhaps the sendor mixed it up with another book mailed to someone else and they got my book. I've read about that before in the forums. I did not mark the book received. Instead I sent a PM to the sendor telling her she sent the wrong book. That was two days ago. What am I suppose to do? Should I mark it received but wrong book? Am I required to send it back? How do I get my original wishlist book? Do I go to the end of the wishlist line? I REALLY don't want the book that was sent to me and it is not a wish listed book. So I feel I've really lost a credit here for nothing. Any suggestions? |

Don't mark it received if it's the wrong book(since you didn't receive the book you ordered). I'd give the sender another day or two(who knows what's going on in their life, could be anything from internet problems to major crises), and then if you get no response, maybe reorder it from someone else. You should go back to the top of the wishlist if it's lost(of course, that would take a while, probably)

I read everything in the help center and I still believe the best thing is to do as you say Lynn. Give it a couple more days to get a response. I think the best thing is to settle it with the sendor. So I will keep waiting. If she doesn't respond I guess I'll just let it get marked as lost and then I will go to the top of the list again. Does that sound right? |

That's what I would do for a wrong book. Never mark it as received since you did not receive the book you requested. |

Having mixed up two books when I was sending out before, you are doing the right thing. Most likely the sender just accidently mixed the two packages up when putting the label on it. Give it another day, if the sender has not responded, send one more PM to her. Give it 3 days(total of a week) If they have not still responded, then you may want to mark it received with a problem and explain it in the "Comments to PBS" box. The admin team will look at it and should put you back on the top of the list. If you find yourself not placed back to the top, send a note using the "Contact Us" link on the Help Center or at the bottom of most PBS pages. You will find most senders that accidently do this will probably ask if you will send the book to the other user and offer compensation for it(and vice versa). |

Mona; this is from the Help Center: I received a book I didn't request! If you received a book you didn't request (a title you don't recognize), most likely the sender put the wrong book into the PBS Wrapper with your address on it. If this was a single-book shipment, the book you received may have been requested by another member, who may have gotten your book. It is also possible that the sender reprinted a wrapper she or he used to send you a book in the past, and sent this book to you instead of to its proper requestor. If this is a multiple-book shipment, the sender may have sent you a book intended for another member, or may have mixed up a Box-O-Books shipment. How to find the sender of the book to sort this out:
