This was an ok read but I felt it dragged early on when Nero Wolfe was trying to work with the Frosts and I figured how the ending would play out. For me, mysteries that do not stump me are not much fun to read. Of course, I did not know out all the twists and turns which made the book worthwhile finishing. The murderer's motive was quite different from what I expected. If you like Rex Stout pick up a different mystery unless you want to read everything he wrote.
