This is an easy read, of special interest to anyone who knows Seattle and Victoria. Good picture of the protest scene in the Vietnam era, and an exciting spy-vs-spy plot. Gun fights, car chases, and classy seductions.
The FBI is trying to stop a new heroin cartel, but the CIA has their own secret operation: the drugs are financing Chinese espionage on American soil. Easygoing Paul Crane gets roped into the whole mess.
