RED MOON was the June 2014 pick in my neighborhood book club.

I thought it was quite tedious and boring. The first chapter set the tone with a "bad horror movie" airplane scene.

The characters were flat and two dimensional, and you could basically read the first 50 or so pages, then skip to the last 50 and you wouldn't miss anything.

The author was ambitious, but he just doesn't have the narrative talent to pull off an epic, threat-to-humanity-werewolf-romance novel.

So I have to give this one a solid D. It wasn't the worst, but it was pretty bad.
