This was a wonderful book. I hope Morgan Callan Rogers will write many more novels, but it seems she hasn't yet. She captured the setting beautifully and evoked both the time and the place as well as creating characters who could have been among the friends I grew up with in northern New England at the same time.

The story line was sad, but poignant and satisfying.

I highly recommend this book.
