If you get a lot of catalogs in the mail and don't want them, go to www.catalogchoice.org . You put in the information and catalogchoice will contact the company so you stop receiving those unneeded catalogs.

Thanks for the info :) it was getting to be a pain to take all the catalogs that wouldn't quit to the  recycling center, costs a bit in gas to get out there so often.

I just went on today and put on 9 catalogs that I don't want anymore. There is also a website similar to catalogchoice.com, but it's for junkmail and it costs $20 a year. I don't remember the name of the website anymore.

There are a copy of places where you can send in your name and address, and they will remove them from the junk mail lists.

Yes, they work! I did this a few years ago, like about 18, and we get very little junk mail. We get usually three things in the mail as an average, and now we are a family of 7 with 5 adults.
