The same person who wrote "Wishcraft" wrote this book. I was not impressed with either book. It droned on and on about being a "scanner," flitting from one project to another. Instead on picking ONE thing that you're good at, Barbara suggests that you should do EVERYTHING! She does mention who is not a scanner - depressed people because they can't pay attention to anything for long and also people who have ADD. She tries to clear up the difference because being a scanner and having ADD but doesn't do a good job. She herself has been diagnosed with ADD and has episodes of ADD attacks. She also says "there's a noticeable difference between someone with a normal range of interests and a scanner" but doesn't do a good enough job (for me) in describing these differences. This book is really a lot of opinions. Barbara is not a doctor she is a career/lifestyle coach. It took me a long time to get through this book because it's just one person's opinion. I should note that it also took me a long time to get through her other book, "Wishcraft."
