This book is a companion to the BBC/PBS series of the same name (which is available on DVD if you missed it, by the way). The show took modern-day people and put them in a manor house for the summer to live as Regency folks did around 1811. This book has a lot of information about the experiences of the participants than was shown on the show. It also has a lot of interesting historical information about the Regency period. A must for Jane Austen addicts.
