About a Young Boy witnessing a crime and insisting on testifying, putting Himself in great danger.
A young boy witnesses a heinous crime which brings his mothers nemeis together to protect him. Really good.

He'd witnessed a heinous crime & now Kerri's young son insisted on testifying. Part of her was proud, but a bigger part wanted to wrap him in her arms & run. Then her nemesis-& one time crush-Wade stepped in & insisted on keeping them both safe. She had had no intention of relying on the man she blamed for shattering her family... until someone came after her little boy. Kerri soon found the safest place was in Wade's arms-which scared her more than any elusive criminal ever could. Suspenseful!

I enjoyed this book. Often times when people run, they have someone who knows "what to do." This book is much more realistic, well until the ending, but isn't that why we read? To escape?
Decent enough for a quick read, a little too predictable to me, but all around OK.
