As a mother this was one of the most heart wrenching stories I have ever read.
In 1990, diplomatic relations between Iran and the US had been torn with the hostage situation and it was not safe for Americans to be in Iran and yet this is where Jessica's American born children had been illegally taken by their father. When Jessica turned to the US government for help - she found there was none. How was she to get her children home safely? This is a story of a very, very courageous woman who put her own life in danger to get her children back. Lies, deceit and lots of underground secretive plans are all part of what Jessica must participate in in order to get her children safely home.
A hard story to read and yet riveting.

I was a nervous wreck all the way through this story! I was really drawn into her plight and was jumping for joy once Jessica and her children were safely reunited.

"the heart wrenching true story of one woman's fight to recover her abducted children'. This is very much like a book called Not Without My Children-also a book about a father taking his kids to Iran where the law is solely on the side of the man
