The shaman, Vera, will be heavily involved in this story, especially for Caroline and her son Eric. After reading book 1 I was intrigued by more and this one kept my attention from the start. Loved every page full of action and love.
This story takes place after 6 years after James Yorke rejected and humiliated Caroline in front of some of his pack. His father was the alpha at the time but afterwards Jame's dad passed, and he became the alpha. Unfortunately, someone cursed his pack, and members are falling into sickness and eventually passing away and not even painless passing. Now James is sick and he's at a dead end as to where and who cursed him and if that's not painful enough his mate the only women he loved and pushed away comes to him asking questions and not knowing why she's actually there besides his company. He doesn't know about his son or that his also sick and dying. Will James and Caroline get the answers to save his pack and their son, or will Caroline be the only one standing after the sickness takes her precious son and his heroic father?
*Bunny lovers be warned, there will be a blood sacrifice, and a rabbit is the sacrifice.
