This seems to ba a useful book, with some good ideas, but my kids are just too young for his methods, and I thought someone else could make better use of it

How will you teach your kids to be respectful rather than rude?

Most parents wonder how to teach their children respect. The daily battles inside the home are frustrating and your children may be even rude at times. I know mine are.

In RESPECTFUL KIDS, child psychologist Dr. Todd Cartmell offers us a three-part strategy (the book says its proven) that will transform your children. Not only will they break their disrespectful habits, but it will nuture more respectful behavior.

In RESPECTFUL KIDS, chapters teach you

. The skill of fast listening
. The skill of flexible thinking
. The art of making respect fun
. The respect-privilege connection
. plus much more.

With fun stories to illustrate the points, RESPECTFUL KIDS will entertain as well as educate. Im going to try some of the suggestions and see how they work with my teenagers. I think that some of the approaches will work better with a younger child than teenagers. There are discussion questions at the end of each chapter, but there are no lines to fill out your answers. A person studying the book in detail would need to use a notebook.
