Jon Nunn, the detective who thought he got the right person ten years ago, is now having second thoughts. When an anniversary of Rosemary's death is being held, a memorial so to speak, Nunn figures now is the perfect time to re-evaluate the case of Christopher Thomas. Rosemary's Will stipulated that everyone who was present on the night of her husband's murder be invited to the memorial.

He just isn't sure that Rosemary really killed her husband all of those years ago and it doesn't sit right with him. Surely he can get a clue from those attending the memorial and mayhap, the real killer will expose himself. But nothing is ever that easy, and No Rest For The Dead will keep you riveted with the plot twists, turns and unexpected surprises.

Each chapter is written by a different best-selling suspense author, but the chapters just mesh together into a first-rate, thrilling mystery that will keep you gripped in it's entirety. If you love mysteries that aren't easy to figure out, yet are entertaining and written superbly, you won't want to miss No Rest For The Dead!

This book was better than I expected. It was a great story. I loved the way it was laid out-rather than a collaboration per se-each author picked up the next chapter where the last one left off. It was more like creative storytelling. One may tell the story from the perspective of the woman about to be executed, then another would pick up the scene from the perspective of the detective, etc. I was amazed at how well it flowed. I really liked the ending, too. Very well done!

I enjoyed the concept of the book. All the authors had different writing styles, but there was a great flow to it. I was mildly disappointed with the ending though... the introduction hypes it up so much maybe I was overestimating the plot twist at the end. I also would have liked to see a little more character development, as the main characters were pretty one dimensional aside from the (ex) detective. Overall, very good for a modern crime/mystery book.

Seemed like a short story that was too long. The ending was decent, but it took too long to get there.

"No Rest" is a serial themed book. Each author "inherits" the book from the previous author, and takes off with it, creating their own plot line within the plot line. Sounds like a great idea and a compelling read. With an outstanding cast of authors contributing, and one of the best mystery authors out there as an editor, I would have expected much more. The plot line was thin, and as each author made their contribution, it seemed like the plot was getting stretched thinner and thinner. It may have taken a magician to pull this one out. Not my favorite read, and it may have soured me on reading a serial storyline book ever again.
