This is a book I have, but will never list. I've loaned it and made sure I've gotten it back. Dan Stone explains very simply why many people "try religion" and are left disappointed and disillusioned. The normal Christian life is not about performance and obeying the rules. It's about choosing to let God do the redemptive work in you. HE WILL DO IT without all the ticking off of items on a list of "to dos."
If you want to get an understanding of why the Gospel really is Good News give this book a try. I don't think you'll post it either.

I have actually read this book, alone and in a group, several times. It is a great perspective on showing us what has already been done for us and how it affects the way we live life now. He uses descriptions and graphics that really get the idea across in an insightful way. I love it!
