This is an unabridged cassette version. The story is a tiny bit slow, but I loved hearing the various Scottish and English accents of the main characters in the story as our well-beloved maverick Rebus essentially goes under cover in a class of other cops with behavioral problems to work out if they have in fact been covering up major crimes and stealing loot. Lots of twists and turns, a few interesting surprises, and plenty of time to get to know Rebus and his associates rather well.
