If you or your children have read Gone-Away Lake and loved it, you'll want to continue the adventure by reading this sequel. It doesn't quite live up to the magic of the first book, in my opinion, but I still recommend this book and love it! This book deals quite a bit with the process of cleaning up and restoring the Villa Caprice. Whereas the first book contained lots of details and descriptions of nature, this one deals more with details common to Victorian architecture and furniture.
