The first few times I took a PBS book to my PO, the lady at the window had me write "Return Service Requested" under my return addy. She said that if I didn't and the book was lost, it would not necessarily be returned to me since it was Media Mail. Can any other USPS worker verify whether this info is correct or not?
The reason I am curious is because this lady is a bit of a flake and I'm not sure I completely trust her. I took a book to mail last week and she couldn't figure out how to make her computer say that it would cost me the $2.13 plus the $0.18 DC fee. She tried to make me send it at a WAY higher rate, but then she decided to try scanning the barcode to make it work - and it did. I should back up and say, this is NOT the first time she's waited on me and she never had any problems before. Understand why I don't trust her??? LOL
