Richard Blade is a secret agent like James Bond, thrown into a different parallel world in each adventure. If the Dray Prescot series is springing to your mind, you're on the right track. Chock-full of the tacky "men's fiction" over-sexuality that Dray Prescot avoided, this is nonetheless a very entertaining read. While the battles are exciting, I was surprised at the story's intrigues and detailed setting. I am warning you now, you will want to get book 2 as soon as possible...and the series continues to 37!
