I really enjoyed this 2nd book in this series dealing with transplanted librarian Ellie Hastings. I was glad to see a lot of the characters from the first book "Hummingbird Falls" show up in this story along with new ones. I will be looking to read the 3rd book "The Fall Hunt". I would recommend this cozy mystery for someone looking for a quick read.
It's a lovely June summer in Hummingbird Falls, New Hampshire.Librarian Ellie Hastings is getting very strange notes of riddles with malice implied at every turn. She is becoming very frightened that something bad will happen. Then the body of an unidentified woman is found floating in a Hummingbird Falls. She is riddled with bullets.Then a Child goes missing and a weird family moves into town.They are very secretive. AS events collide quickly, Ellie races to find the answers before the action turns more deadly. This is a mystery thriller.
