Derek H. founded the RTD (right to die) movement in the US with his Hemlock Society. Though that organization has morphed to a new name and a different (stated) purpose, he remains the most articulate spokesperson--and beside Kervorkian---the best known. Derek lays out the legal and ethical reasons for a right-to-die in the US. In light of recent arrest of 4 people from the "Final Exit Network", this stands as a testiment to the fact that the fight is not over for end-of-life choices in this country and around the world.
