As a teacher I found this interesting. I try to stay recent, but this book has many interesting points. The most important being the success of your child, which she gives some tips on.

Full of statements that need challenging, like a right brained (or whatever) student obviously needs a right brained teacher" and "..given the sorry state of our schools...", and he's a big fan of "learning styles" (I am not). Other than that, it's a great book.
