This paperback tells a story about St. Francis of Assisi and a young woman in love with him. 31 pages of this book were bound upside down....but the story is worth the inconvenience!

I think, quite possibly, this might be Scott O'Dell's finest movel. Written with his distinctive cadence style during the time of the great crusades.

This biographical novel is aboaut St. Francis of Assisi. The author also wrote "Island of the Blue Dolphins." It is written by a Newberry and Hans Christian Andersen Medal-winning author.
