This is a book with very concise explanations of how your money can take on a life of its own. A big problem with many books is they assume you have money to invest.
This one shows you where to find that money starting with the basics of a budget. It uses basic terms/words without getting so far over your head you give up.

From the intro:
This book addresses the issues that concern you NOW and will help you to:
Make a budget and live within your means
Establish credit and mange debt
Get the most money out of your company benefits plan
Rent an apartment or buy a house
Buy or Lease a new or used car
Save, Invest, and Work with a financial planner
Get married (or move in) and make financial decisions with a partner

It's definitely worth the book credit.
