Quite funny and the dialog was a hoot! All wrapped up in the end just right.

How can someone so laid-back and lovable keep us on the edge of our seat? Joe Sixsmith does it very well in this book. He seems to let the clues come to him rather than actively searching for them. My hat is off to Reginald Hill for creating such an entertaining protagonist. Hill has become one of my favorite authors whose books I watch for when trolling book shops.
