I usually don't care for books written by an author who takes over the leading character for an author who dies. Ace has come very close Robert B in this outing. The only issue I have with the book is that Ace tries a little too hard emphasizing Spenser's particular brand of cynical humor. Zebulon Skillkill replaces Hawk in this one.
