reviewed Rochester: A Novel Inspired by Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre" on
I honestly enjoyed this novel. It's the first book in a trilogy that tells the story of "Jane Eyre" from Edward Rochester's prospective. It is dark, sensual, even racy at times. It's not for the puritanical reader. This novel deviates from the original story at a few points. That didn't bother me at all.
