In âRock Addictionâ, successful rock band Schoolboy Choir's lead singer Fox meets the band's publicist's sister Molly, and falls for her. Molly notes that the drummer, David, seems to have it bad for her sister, Thea â but Thea's been burned by a bad relationship and isn't looking to get herself into another one, especially not one with a client â extra-especially (if that's a word) not with a client who's a rock star with groupies constantly attempting to get his attention. Molly tells David to appeal to the businesswoman, and write a memo; it may or may not work, but she won't be able to resist reading it.

âRock Courtshipâ is the story of that memo. And the reply. And â¦

Author Nalini Singh impressed me in the first book in this series with her ability to combine characterization and plot while interweaving some incredibly erotic scenes. âRock Courtshipâ adds an additional layer to her storytelling skills â innuendo. The âmemosâ traded between David and Thea start hot â and get hotter. That is, until they decide to converse in person â except it turns out that âconversationâ isn't the first thing on either of their minds.

I care about the characters that Miss Singh has developed. I want them to have a âhappy ever afterâ. I care enough that after receiving a review copy of the audio version of Book 1 in the series, I purchased this audio book simply because she hooked me on this series with that review copy! (Credit also goes to narrator Justine O. Keef. , who I'd not heard of before that first book but now consider myself to be a fan of.)

Warning: If you cannot handle some incredibly hot romantic scenes, this book is not for you. On the other hand, if you don't care if the protagonists do anything other than undertake in nocturnal bedroom calisthenics, this book may not be for you either. BUT if you appreciate characterization, plot, and erotica blended together, this book gets my highest recommendation.

RATING: 5 stars.
