Rod Beck, a relief pitcher during the 1990s, died over the weekend.  He was only 38.  They haven't come out with cause of death.  There is speculation that it was drug related.  He had a history of abuse.

I think he leaves behind a couple of kids too.  Very sad.

I saw on the news that they found cocaine in several different places throughout Beck's house.  It's very sad.  He had a very serious problem.  His wife has really held her head high.  She is speaking out because she said she hopes what happened to her family might help others going through the same thing.
