This book has already proved a valuable and indispensible asset to my writing in the short time that I have owned it. I will never need another thesaurus. At first I thought the categorical grouping of words was a bit strange, but it was easy enough to figure out the organization to actually use it and once I began to I quickly fell in love. I would look up a specific word and find myself reading far more paragraphs than I needed to just for the sheer joy of the language. Highly recommend that everyone who does even infrequent writing have one of these books on their shelf.
