Ingredients
  • 1 can/jar - favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup - chopped onion and green pepper
  • 1 clove - minced garlic
  • 1 small pkg - angel hair pasta
  • 1/2 cup - thin shredded colby, cheddar or american cheese
  • - black and green olives
Directions

 

Season ground beef or turkey to taste, less salt if on low sodium diet

Brown ground meat  in large pot/dutch oven, until brown, drain grease if necessary

Add onion, pepper and garlic, saute'  with meat until slightly cooked

Add spaghetti sauce, cook on low to medium for 30 minutes

While sauce is cooking, bring med pot of water to boil, add 1 tsp olive oil, add pasta

When angel hair pasta is cooked, drain and set aside.

Add black or green olives to spaghetti sauce (optional)

Mix well drained pasta to sauce and turn off heat.

Add shredded cheese to pasta and sauce to your liking, mix well.

Fill loaf pans with spaghetti mixture (add sliced olives to top) optional.  Add more shredded cheese to cover loaf

Bake on 350 degrees or until cheese has melted.

Serve with green salad and bread.

Notes

This meal freezes well when you use disposable loaf pans and covered with aluminun foil.  Is also good as a meal

to a friend in need.  I use the small loaf pans which can serve two easily.  Goes from freezer to oven easily.

This sounds great. One question ... how much ground beef do you use?
