I am looking for recommendations for my mom who likes romance with NO thriller aspect. I posted here last time and got some great recommendations.

Please give me book titles and authors though since I am looking to buy Audion CDs with the recommendations.

Thanks! Elizabeth

Hmmm!  Kind of hard these days to find one with zero thriller or action but here's a few I've read recently that MAY qualify:

The Cowboy on her Trail by Janis Reams Hudson, Cinderella's Sweet Talking Marine by Cathie Linz, A Baby on the Ranch by Stella Bagwell

The McKettrick brothers series by Linda Lael Miller-the first one in the old West.  I haven't read the contemporary ones about their descendants.  An old man promises the ranch to the 1st son to produce a wife and child.  Light hearted fun reads.-McKettricks Choice, Shot-gun Bride, High Country Bride and I think the other one is Short Straw Bride but don't quote me on that.

which recs did she like last time? and by 'thriller' do you mean suspense or sex or both?!  :-)  there's a thread we bumped back up for 'sweet romances'; those would probably fit the bil.

the corset diaries is hilarious though contains a lot of sex and pretty descriptive in places. I bet it would be funny on cd or tape!

the harlequin type romances: harlequin american romance-judy christenberry has some really good storie though I haven't kept up with themall - in papa bear's bed has a bit of 'thriller' though nothing serious like shootouts or anything and is  a great little story. her randall brothers (original 4) are really good. doubt you can find these recorded though.

Curtiss Ann Matlock has nice stories. maybe robyn carr? I just picked up the 2nd ina series by her(down in the valley) and there are a lot of characters and 'life' and some drama but it's not a 'thriller'
