This is the 2nd book by Robert Alexander I have read. He has extensive knowledge of this time period and does a great job of being historically accurate. Highly recommend.

The Romanov Bride is the third in Robert Alexander's not quite series on the Russian Revolution. It showcases a member of the ruling house of Russia who is, it seems, made of different stuff than the rest of her family. Set against the beginning of the revolution, the tales of a Russian peasant who works for the revolution and a princess who seeks to understand it intertwine and end, for each, the only way a true Russian tale can.
