This book includes two stories. The first one I really enjoyed. The sex was great. The bdsm was light in my opinion but still excellently written and very erotic. I think people who dont like harsh bdsm will be happy with this book because of the deep affection and love between the characters. Jilly is a woman tired of waiting on her cowboy, Jake, and is getting ready to move on with a new guy but Jake doesnt want to let her go.
The second story was just okay for me. The problem was that Doug was introduced in the first story as a guy who hadnt even gone to 2nd base with Jilly because he was waiting for "marriage" and then in the 2nd story not only did he sleep with her on the first date but was into bdsm? Yeah right.
There wasnt much substance to the stories outside of the great sex, but sometimes that works. In my opinion, it works with this book.
