Very amusing in some spots, sweetly charming. It's not meant to be a historical record but her descriptions of the times are very interesting - like the firm in which she worked where women couldn't get promoted because they weren't allowed in the dining room with the men! I think this is probably of more interest for those who have already enjoyed Cats in the Belfrey or one of her other animal stories, as she references them fairly often and it is a reminiscence about how it all started.
P.S. I edited this book data on Nov 3, 2019 to add a description. Curious to know how long it takes PBS to fix it.
