  Rotting Dreams

All the places I wanted to go
And the things I said Iíd do
All the dreams that I once had are gone
And itís all because of you.

You told me that you loved me
But can you not see the pain?
Canít you see that thereís no difference
Between the sunshine and the rain?

You told me that youíd help me
But you went and turned your back.
Iíll never be the new red rose
My heart is painted black.

Now what am I supposed to do?
Iím broken and forlorn.
My world is scattered around me
Itís all tattered and torn.

Sit back and watch me suffer now
How could you do this to me?
I canít help wondering if I were gone
How much happier youíd be.

So I hope that you are happy
Because I, for one, am not.
And I hope that you can be content
While my dreams decay and rot.

no comments please, I'm already miserable enough.
