After reading this book I wonder how A & E didn't see his problems coming...especialy since A & E sponsored this book..did they even read it!?!?!?!?
I finally had to stop reading it at the point where Dog meets Beth because this book is full of sex, sex, and more sex, drugs, and a lot of language. It makes your respect for the man drop a bit because he was even stating how he knew it was wrong to sleep with the hooker but he just wanted it bad enough he'd do anything to get it. This book just really grossed me out and made me lose a bit of respect for Dog. I have to wonder now about a comment he made on his show before he married Beth. He said that once he got married he'd have to stop sleeping around with people to get information on his bounty's. I thought back then that he was joking, but after reading this book I'm not so sure anymore. Just sad really to find all this out. I knew he did bad things, but it's like he never got out of the habit/pattern and almost like he didn't want to.

This book was...interesting. Prior to reading it, I was neither a fan nor not a fan of Dog. I'd seen his show a few times, knew a little bit about him and his story, and thought this would be an interesting book to read since he seems like an interesting character. Well, one thing I can say is that after reading this book, I am definitely leaning towards "not a fan". He is very arrogant and full of himself, and I can't respect someone who has repeatedly been unfaithful to the women in his life with little remorse. His pre-bounty hunting days are glorified tales of sex, drugs and criminal activity. His bounty hunting tales are full of arrogance and self-importance. And to be honest - I had trouble believing a lot of the stories in this book. Overall, I think if you like Dog and his TV show, you will probably enjoy this book. If you are not a fan, or not sure how you feel about him, I'd pass.

I watch Dog The Bounty Hunter all the time-now the book.......Hmmmm, er..umm...Dog..Dude..one word COUNSELING. Wow. Dog says he walks with God and I gotta say I'll have what you're having. Drugs, sex, fghting, sex, drinking, child endangerment, law-breaking, talking to angels, oh, and did I mention sex? A very interesting read and I can appreciate someone who tells the truth. I liked the story but am shocked over the blatant law-breaking. I'm not impressed with the sex/drinking/binges; I'm glad someone is there to bounty hunt, but it seems to take its toll with hard living. I do reccommend this book. I couldn't put it down.

This book contains never before seen pictures of "The Dog", and gets really personal with the readers, if you want a clear "idea" of what "DOG" was, became, and is here is the book for you--it tells you EVERYTHING....and then some.
