I want to thank everyone that has gone to the trouble to check on me since Ian hit Florida. Still have power. It went out for about 30 seconds around 6pm but came right back on. I went to bed at midnight and just woke up (8:15). Hope the power continues to stay on.

 We never lost power in our gated community though all around us did.It's weird the pockets that didn't lose power. News says our county has 30% of homes still without power . 
--here we still have 20 + mph winds for most of day though no rain and street is showing some dry areas ( probably from winds 'blow-drying' things!). Weonly got around 5 inches rain total, despite the prediction of 15-16 inches for us. Will get out to clean up yard. Need to rake the street too so any future rains can flow down to drains. Pool survived the best-- only 2 leaves floating in it!

Oh and giant thanks to Pat who sent a surprise raok to help me get thru the hurricane!
