One of the mid-series Saddle Club books, as it was just starting to move into being ghostwritten full-time. Writer Caitlin C. Macy does a good job, adding depth to Lisa's character (later writers include her love of acting and singing) and a secondary supporting character named Hollie, but it just doesn't read like the originals. Not a bad book overall.
