This was a very short read from me as I am not a teenager. I wasn't totaly intrigued by this book as I usually am with teenage novels. I found the girl bratty and annoying. What kind of person doesn't LOVE the beach? Or even like it? But in the end she does find her way and rationalizes why her Mother did this to 'her' All in all it did have a good meaning behind it, but that is up to you to find the meaning.
