The storyline of this book has been done many times although it did have a couple of plot twists, and could have been an okay read except I was never able to feel the emotions of the characters. It was written with somewhat mechanically descriptive phrasing, and sometimes embarrassingly corny lines. Also when the h has supposedly just had the hottest, absolutely best sex of her life I could think of a better response that saying, "That was lovely".
The h had done the whole casual sex thing a few times, and the H was described as a dissolute playboy; they began a sexual relationship quickly after meeting each other, and we are somehow supposed to believe that this time it was something more for them just because the author told us it was. When I finish reading a romance I want to be satisfied with the story enough to have a smile on my face and an emotional tug at my heart, but this one left me feeling dissatisfied.
