Clumbsy Santa tries to leave gifts at a house without waking up the occupants. This is a really cute picture book.

Fun read aloud for young kids. Humorous premise with positive message. Santa is having one of "those" days - but on Christmas Eve! Nothing is going right and he's wreaking a bit of havoc in the Sylvester house. Thank goodness Gerald, one of his elves, stowed away on the sleigh to help fix all the problems. Most of Gerald's work is accomplished in the pictures, as opposed to mentioned in the text, which makes for interesting discussions in addition to the light-hearted story.
