I was looking forward to reading this book and others by this author but had to abandon this book due to the poor writing. I found the writing very amateurish and confusing. I was so distracted by the writing that I could not even concentrate on the story.

I had this book on my wish-list to try a new author. Needless to say I will not be reading any others. It was very childish. The writing was more what I would expect in a child's book. Definitely not from an adult book. I had a very hard time even finishing it. The plot was okay but even that wasn't the greatest. If you want a book for a teenager then maybe you could pick it up but not an adult type book.

Enjoyable book. I appreciate the Amish way of life. This took a different "route" than Beverly Lewis but very interesting. Would recommend for a Family read.

Nice story and makes Amish teenagers seem like all other teenagers. the amish ways of forgiveness and acceptance are seen in this story of love and betrayal.
