I absolutely loved this book. There are moments in the story that struck me to the core. A point in Sara's life that she and I identified with one another. I giggled or smiled, but I even cried and empathized with her. This author really involved me in what was going on with Sara. I knew how she felt through the events with David and Miles. I felt her pain and could emphathize with her in almost every moment, and there is the 'sampler'.
Starts a bit slowly, but develops into a wonderful story.
Great story, and the continued adventure from the beloved book series - Walks the Fire, Soaring Eagle, and Red Bird. Stephanie Grace Whitson does it again!
This is a wonderful series. I have read the books at least three times over the years, although I don't re-read very many books. Sorry, no re-post, as I ordered this set to have my own copy.
I discovered this third book after a friend lent me Karyn's Memory Box and Nora's Ribbon of Memories. It took me forever to get my hands on this book, but it was worth the wait. I loved it, though Karyn's Memory Box is still my favorite of the series. In many ways it was predictable, but the tragedy midway through that points Sarah in a new direction caught me off guard. It broke my heart and I cried, but the happy end was very fitting. I'm not sure of the order of the books in the series, but having read the previously mentioned two first, I was delighted to find a mention of Dr. Albright in this one. She's the only character that ties all three books together. Overall a nice read and well worth the wait.
