Fiona is a young orphan, both her parents dying from disease, she goes to live with her Aunt as an assistant shop keeper. Once there she catches the eye of the Duchess of Lawton and her handsome lover. The Duchess decides for fun to engage her as her wardrobe maid and then play a "little trick" on her friends by presenting her to society as a Lady from the country. Fiona, young and innocent goes along with the requests. But the the Duchess notices that her lover seems to always have his eyes on Fiona - her fun now gone she determines to destroy the girl by drugging her and offering her up as the virgin in the Black Mass by notorious Hell Fire Club (composed of the ton of society).
Fiona's awakens from her drugged revere to find the man she thought she loved raping her in front of an audience! Now ruined and tossed out on the street she must use her wits and her body for revenge and her own survival.
This was a fun historical bodice ripper with a nice occult twist.
