I am in a drama funk, I love a good life lesson but I would like more laughter than tears. I appreciate any suggestions that might make me giggle or laugh at life .

~Thank you

You need Laurie Notaro's books--they're all quick reads, nothing much to them, but they will make you smile. Her first book is The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club.

Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bon was an excellent mix of funny and serious.

How about Goddess for Hire which was downright silly
