Not in the salacious sense, but Ethan Travis had no way of knowing her close-held secrets. He saw, instead of an avenging angel, a lost and vulnerable soul who needed his unique talents to rescue her-almost as much as he needed her unconditional love to rescue him!
Cloaked in a dark and dangerous appeal, Ethan Travis wore his whispered title of "the Demon of Alsatia" well. And Sarah Hunter was drawn to him with a mad intensity. But it was futile, she knew, for even a man with a past could never truly desire a woman without a future.

Book 2 in a series...Sarah's story...What's not to love about this book- good plot, sensual sex scenes, tortured hero and heroine and Ethan is to die for.

The dialogue is fantastic. I love Regency heroines who have some sass and fire. My favorite of Ranstrom's Wednesday League books.

Have read this story twice over the last few years. Enjoyed it both times, especially because of the heroine's unique back story (not giving here because I don't like spoilers). But so much of the story action takes place in the same setting, at night on the streets of London. That part did feel repetitive during both reads.

This is # 2 in the Wednesday League series, very enjoyable, if predictable.
